While not all tile or stone needs to be sealed or pre-treated prior to installation, the everyday challenges faced by tile and stone contractors poses constant challenges. Among them are the potential for grout staining and or hazing issues that cost time and money that was never considered in the bid and bottom line. Other related consequences are overwatering grout to make it easier to float, over-washing to remove hazing leading to grout discoloration and low joints and ultimately an unhappy customer.
